Lokalt.se is a digital marketplace where you as a consumer can find, shop and book from real small businesses in Sweden.
We showcase unique local products which come from a place of a lot of love so you can easily support local businesses, no matter where you are. Through Lokalt.se, small businesses get a place to be seen and sell digitally, and you get access to goods from committed sellers.
How we do it
We have built a platform where it is easy to get started with e-commerce – both for entrepreneurs and for customers.
It's free to register as a seller and we only charge commission when something is actually sold. Shipping solutions, payments and product management – everything is built into the system. This means that as a seller you avoid technical obstacles and can focus on what you do best: creating and selling.
Our mission and Objective
We want to contribute to a vibrant local business community where more small business owners can make a living from their businesses.
Today, online shopping is dominated by low-cost goods that are shipped all over the world – often from companies with no connection to Sweden. We want to be a counterforce to that. Our goal is to make e-commerce accessible to all small businesses in Sweden – regardless of whether you are in the mountains, the countryside or in a city. We want to give space to the people behind the products and help more people reach out digitally – without losing the local touch.

The team behind Lokalt.se
We are three entrepreneurs living in Jämtland who are passionate about local development, digital solutions and small business.
Together we have experience in e-commerce, marketing, destination development and small-scale entrepreneurship. We know what it feels like to be the one to make it all work – and we built Lokalt.se to help more entrepreneurs avoid technical anxiety and hassle. We are small business owners ourselves, and we are here so that more can become one – and live off it.
